Sockaloni comes ready to use (note: step 1 only required to adjust lace length, otherwise, proceed to step 2).
STANDARD SOCKALONI
Sitting
Adjust lace to suit
Approx. length, with Sockaloni flat on floor, top of lace loop at top or mid-knee
Adjust lace loop handles, approx. 6″ loop
Make loops equal before tightening knot
Adjust lace length, equal, each side of Sockaloni
Sitting
Place Sockaloni on your lap with wings facing up
Holding sock with heel down and both thumbs in the top of sock, roll top of sock over fingers, forming a cuff or handle
Open sock over toe of Sockaloni, butt top of Sockaloni against your belly
Pull sock towards top using your thumbs at wings to guide sock on
When near top, let sock roll off your fingers
At wings, pinch, pull, slide sock snug against toe of Sockaloni
Make sock smooth, not bunched near wings (note: think of Sockaloni as your foot, sock should be up to toe and top, on straight at heel)
Using loop handles, place Sockaloni flat on floor in front of foot
Keep your foot 90° to your leg or as if you were standing
Insert foot into Sockaloni, slide foot forward (note: keep slight pressure of heel of foot on Sockaloni and floor)
When top of sock is past your heel, at mid point of Sockaloni, and your toes are at end of sock, gently pull on handles
Continue slowly pulling handles
Sockaloni will naturally curve to heel, follow ankle and up leg and release from top of sock
COMPRESSION SOCKALONI
Sitting
Adjust lace to suit
Approx. length, with Compression Sockaloni flat on floor, top of lace loop at top or mid-knee
Adjust lace loop handles, approx. 6″ loop
Make loops equal before tightening knot
Adjust lace length, equal, each side of Compression Sockaloni
Sitting
Place Compression Sockaloni on your lap with wings facing up
Hold sock with one hand, heel up
Pull sock over other hand and up arm until fingertips are at heel of compression sock
Using hand, fold top of sock back to heel, pinch top of sock and heel together, remove from your arm
Holding sock with heel down and both thumbs in the top of sock, roll top of sock over fingers forming a cuff or handle
Open sock over toe of Compression Sockaloni, butt top of sockaloni against your belly
Pull sock towards top using your thumbs at wings to guide sock on
When near top, let sock roll off your fingers
At wings, slide folded top of sock towards top of Compression Sockaloni
Then at wings, pinch, pull, slide sock snug against toe of Compression Sockaloni
